Joe Eichner
Joe brings creativity, intellectual curiosity and a passion for language to his work crafting content for Greentarget clients.
Joe has been deeply involved in some of Greentarget’s best content, including digital magazines showcasing client thought leadership, an award-winning cybersecurity research report, and op-eds for the Washington Post and USA Today. Joe knows what makes a good story and how best to tell it – in ways that connect with specific audiences, in whichever style suits it best.
He devotes considerable efforts to pro bono and volunteer work. Joe leads Greentarget’s community investment team, spearheading initiatives with non-profit organizations that support the local community, with previous projects ranging from teaching Chicago-area high school students valuable communications skills to providing food and encouragement to sick hospital patients. He is also active in Greentarget’s pro bono practice.
After starting his career as a Greentarget intern—and, later, a media relations associate—Joe wrote copy at a boutique ad agency in New York and produced digital learning content for the likes of IBM, Ketchum and PepsiCo. He earned a master’s degree in Creative Writing from UMass-Amherst, where he taught writing and composition.

Outside the office, you’ll likely find Joe watching reality TV, reading a novel or going to the movies – oftentimes with his identical twin brother.
