Emily is an accomplished executive communications strategist and creative leader with a proven track record of building brands, shaping narratives, and driving business value through compelling storytelling and innovative thinking. With deep expertise across the intersecting worlds of technology, business, media, and public affairs, Emily brings both big picture vision and detailed execution to every engagement.
Before joining Greentarget, Emily held senior communications roles at organizations such as Ogilvy, Evergreen Climate Innovations, and Redbox. Throughout her career, she has led efforts on strategic messaging, content strategy, stakeholder engagement, and high-profile campaigns.
Values-driven and endlessly curious, Emily thrives in environments where creativity meets impact. She developed an app called Italic Type to help readers and book clubs enjoy more engaging and satisfying reading experiences. She also served as a U.S. State Department Professional Fellow representing Chicago’s innovation ecosystem abroad and has published or contributed to stories in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, AV Club, and The Onion.
Emily holds a certificate in Nonfiction Storytelling from Yale University and a B.A. in International Relations and Geography from The George Washington University.
