Abby Aylman Cohen
Abby’s heart belongs to strategic communications, but she has a head for financial services.
A seasoned PR veteran, she has developed and executed public relations programs for financial services companies at communications agencies, at a Fortune 100 financial services company and as a consultant.
In addition to her strong skills as an account manager, Abby helps Greentarget clients advance their business goals through media relations strategy and execution and the conception, development and implementation of astute communication plans. In addition to her background in financial services, she has strong knowledge of the technology sector, and she has provided media training to many high-ranking corporate officers.
Most recently before joining Greentarget, Abby ran her own corporate communications consultancy specifically focused on the financial and technology sectors. The combination of her agency, in-house and independent consulting experience provides important insight that allows her to empathize with clients.
Abby’s financial services experience has focused on asset management and retirement planning. Her career spans nearly two decades, as one of her first professional campaigns was launching Encyclopedia Britannica online webs.
Abby spends her spare time with her husband and two kids in New York and stays active with yoga, Pilates and indoor cycling (she can’t quit SoulCycle, she tried).
Achieving business objectives
Abby walks fast, talks fast and wears too much black — just like any good native New Yorker.
