With 15+ years of experience in broadcast news under his belt, Sam knows as well as anyone how to connect with reporters and what makes for a good story.
As news editor at WGN-TV and CLTV, Sam made decisions about news coverage for some of the biggest stories affecting Chicago and the nation at large. Before that, he was a researcher at NBC News in New York.
At Greentarget, Sam applies his deep understanding of how news organizations work to create successful communications strategies for a range of professional services firms. An avid consumer and supporter of news, Sam works with clients to craft effective media relations campaigns, pitch winning stories to reporters, and conduct insightful media trainings.
Sam received a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Illinois. He’s passionate about helping clients direct a smarter conversation by showcasing their unique perspectives in today’s fast-paced media landscape.
