What We Do
Why Work at Greentarget?
Our team gives their reasons
The best way to understand our culture is to get to know our team. Rather than try to describe what it’s like to work for Greentarget every day, we asked a few of our colleagues. Here’s what they had to say:
Ted Mills, Senior Vice President of Media Relations
When we say “we counsel those who counsel the world’s most sophisticated businesses” we aren’t kidding, and that makes for incredibly stimulating work. The legal profession is tied to just about every other business sector, so I never feel confined to representing one company or one sector.
One day I focus on real estate objectives, the next securities litigation. That diversity makes it truly exciting – and it makes Greentarget not only a destination for talented individuals, but also one that rewards intellectual curiosity and commitment.
I consider myself a communicator and an innovator, and I want to work with an organization that’s leading toward the future of the industry.
Lisa Seidenberg, Associate Vice President
At Greentarget, we get to work with some of the smartest people in the business and legal world; they rely on us for counsel and to protect their professional reputation, which is literally one of their most valuable assets.
Then there are the incredibly talented reporters with whom we have the opportunity to build relationships – every day we get the ear of those who impact society through their writing.
Beyond the external parties we engage with, our team is really where it’s at. I think we’re each here because we want to be – we’re aligned by the firm’s core values and committed to impeccable client service. And we’re inspired by the senior leadership team, who built our firm from the ground up.
Abby Moriarty, Account Supervisor
One of my favorite things to do is take a complicated legal or financial concept and break it down into layman’s terms – it’s a puzzle I’m willing to try to solve over and over again, and that’s what I do almost every day.
Of course, it’s extremely challenging and some days are more successful than others. But what I appreciate most about Greentarget is the support system that’s all around us.
When you have a successful day, you’re celebrated with a note from a manager, a value-chip recognition or maybe a Green Lantern Award. On the tough days, your peers are there to build you back up – with a quick brainstorm, a shared media contact or maybe even a high five from Aaron in the hallway.
Jackson Pillow, Senior Associate
Greentarget provides the opportunity to grow your career no matter what level you start at. It is a wet stone that will sharpen your talents and skills in critical thinking, writing, media relations, research and news judgment – among many others.
From your first day here, it’s clear that while you’ll have plenty of autonomy, you’ll have access to everyone at the firm, at every level, whether you’re managing a group of interns, collaborating with our content and research teams or executing crisis communications plans with the founders. The people we work with are supportive, smart and, every once in a while, hilarious.
