Laura has built a strong communications career, marrying a love for public relations with a passion for politics.
With extensive experience in the U.S. and state political arena, Laura offers a unique insight into the intersection of politics and business, which is invaluable to clients, particularly in times of crisis or managing regulatory issues.
Laura divides her time between managing longstanding firm clients and driving Greentarget’s talent initiative. That program, formally launched in 2014, aims to create an environment of career development that is unmatched in any industry and is founded on an integrated best-in-class approach to recruiting, onboarding, education, performance management and benefits.
Serving as part of the leadership team at Greentarget, Laura runs the Chicago office and heads up a select group of management teams, including the firm’s Community Investment program.
When not working, she’s spending time with her family, and in particular her daughter and small dog. She’s an avid science fiction fan and a “classics” queen – classic movies, music, clothes, cars and literature, to name only a few.
What gives me purpose in my work?
Helping an individual to take new risks and find success.
Like the young team member who arranges her first reporter coffee, the Associate who develops his first major strategy document, or the burgeoning writer who crafts talking points for a CEO in crisis – their wins are my wins, and their energy and excitement are powerfully contagious.
